Dr. Ong Jeen Wei is an Associate Professor at the Faculty of Management (FOM), Multimedia University (MMU). Currently, he also serves as the Director of Alumni Engagement, Career, and Entrepreneurship Development (ACED). Jeen Wei earned his Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in the area of strategic management in small and medium enterprises (SMEs). Prior to that, he completed his Bachelor of Business Administration (Hons) (Entrepreneurship) and Master of Philosophy (Management).

Jeen Wei is a certified Human Resource Development Corporation (HRDC), Centre for Entrepreneurship Development and Research (CEDAR) and Wadhwani Foundation trainer. He also completed the Entrepreneurial Educator Enhancement Programme (3EP) by Ministry of Higher Education, Malaysia. On top of that, Jeen Wei advances his knowledge in innovative and problem solving tools. He completed his TRIZ (Theory of Inventive Problem Solving) Level 3 certification training with both Malaysia TRIZ Innovation Association (MyTRIZ) and The International TRIZ Association (MATRIZ). Dr. Sergei Ikovenko, the former President of MATRIZ and Adjunct Professor of Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) certified his MATRIZ Level 3 certification. Besides that, Jeen Wei learnt Design Thinking from the trainers from Stanford University and University College Dublin (UCD).

Jeen Wei is also actively involved in providing corporate training and adult education. At MMU, he taught entrepreneurship, entrepreneurship and commercialization, strategic management and organizational behavior at Master of Business Administration (MBA), Master of Philosophy (M.Phil) and Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) level. Jeen Wei is the advisor and consultant for the Young Agropreneur Programme in MARDI. Since 2017, he has trained thousands of participants in Malaysia and oversea
