Datuk Ken Phua’s journey with Bentley Music Group spans more than three decades, during which he has not only driven growth but also nurtured a vibrant musical community. His vision and commitment have set new industry standards in quality, service, and music education.

Under his leadership, Bentley Music Group has flourished, boasting six distinct divisions tailored to specific industry needs. The Retail Division offers an extensive selection of musical instruments from top brands, while the Wholesale Division efficiently distributes instruments and provides training to a nationwide network of music dealers.

Datuk Ken Phua’s dedication to nurturing talent shines through the Bentley Music Academy, where the motto is “Performance First. The Corporate Division enhances auditory experiences for establishments like hotels, restaurants, and religious institutions by providing custom sound solutions. The institutional divisions offer specialised expertise, serving government ministries, military bands, universities, and educational centres. And, with the Corporate Communications Division, Bentley Music Group orchestrates seamless events, including a spectacular auditorium for up to 400 attendees.

Beyond his business achievements, Ken Phua actively contributes to the Malaysia Retail Chain Association (MRCA) as Deputy President, reflecting his commitment to the broader community.

Ken’s journey of continuous growth includes a Management Science degree from the University of Bradford, UK, an MBA from the University of the Sunshine Coast, Australia, and certification as a financial planner from the Financial Planning Association of Malaysia (FPAM). And now a PhD candidate in management at INTI International University, Ken’s academic pursuits mirror his commitment to excellence.
