Dr. Eric Balan’s forte is in International Economics and Global Strategic Management. His primary research centres around the progress of China’s Belt and Road Initiatives and the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership. He has authored three books on the subject of city development and economic efficiencies.

As the CEO of Asiatech, he works on catalysing the R&D&C&I ecosystem through research commercialization bridging innovation and technology to opportunities presented by trade agreements.
