Dr. Linda Salim leads a health-tech startup of which she dived into head first as soon as she finished her doctoral journey. The decision to penetrate the healthcare industry came from her experience caring for her aging parents, as she spotted a serious underserved gap in geriatric care. 

Before founding Daftaro and walking her PhD journey, Linda was a serial entrepreneur, having founded property marketing and PR agency companies, both of which she exited to pursue motherhood.

Linda is also a second-generation member of her family business in manufacturing. She remains in the family business’ Board of Directors.
