Khamarul Azhar Hashim is a prominent leader in Malaysia’s Islamic inheritance and wealth management sector, serving as Co-Founder and Managing Director of Kausar Wealth Management. With over 20 years of experience, Khamarul has pioneered innovative Shariah-compliant inheritance planning strategies, including hibah, wasiat, faraid, family trust, and business succession planning, impacting over 7,000 families and managing assets valued at more than RM 7 billion.

Khamarul’s journey began with a degree in Building from the University of South Australia and a decade in construction management in Australia, later transitioning into financial planning in Malaysia. His certifications include Islamic Financial Planner (IFP), Shariah Registered Financial Planner (Shariah RFP), and Certified Mediator from Accord Group Australia.

Khamarul developed the “F.A.S.T” method—a comprehensive approach to legacy planning—and has trained nearly 2,300 advisors through his partnership with Wasiyyah Shoppe Bhd, Malaysia’s leading Shariah-compliant trust company. Under his leadership, Kausar Wealth Management has received Wasiyyah Shoppe’s CEO Award for ten consecutive years.

In 2018, Khamarul led Kausar Wealth Management’s strategic partnership for the Sultan of Perak’s Hibah Awareness Campaign, a milestone initiative promoting Islamic inheritance awareness. He is a sought-after speaker and frequent media contributor, recognized for advancing Malaysia’s discourse on Islamic inheritance planning.
